Boundary Waters paddler in the White House?

Aug 8, 2024

Minnesotans are excited about the pick of Tim Walz as Kamala Harris’ running mate - and we’re proud to say he’s a Boundary Waters paddler!

I first met then-Congressman Walz over 15 years ago, and I remember him telling me about the solo wilderness canoe trips he enjoyed taking.

As a Congressman and then Governor of Minnesota, our team and supporters have interacted with and met Walz a lot over the years, here's a few pictures!

Stay tuned and remember to get out and “vote the Boundary Waters” this election. More information and volunteer opportunities can be found through our sister organization Boundary Waters Action Fund.
