The Boundary Waters is America's most visited Wilderness located along the northeastern edge of Minnesota. It contains 20% of all the freshwater in the entire National Forest System, along with the Superior National Forest. But this pristine Wilderness is threatened by a proposed sulfide-ore copper mine. This type of mining is the most toxic industry in the U.S. and would cause irreversible harm.
